Just a little note to thank you all for your support. It's been difficult for everyone, and the yoga community in general has found it difficult not being able to share physical space for three plus months, other than virtually.
Now that our insurers have confirmed outdoor sessions can be at larger capacity, we just wanted to assure you that our sessions will always be much less than the legal recommended requirements. We will always put your health and wellbeing as our priority.
Covid-19 isn't going anywhere just yet and it means that we are all trying to find new rhythms of living, and being together. The pandemic is going to change everything.
None of us are immune to the risks. And we have to look out for one another. And there are those that are more vulnerable. All our wider families and communities of friends can be affected if we start to lose vigilance.
During summer, we're truly relieved that we can offer outdoor sessions with plenty of ventilation and lots of space around each magic carpet/yoga mat. But we're fully aware that each of us has a part to play in protecting the wider community; outdoors or otherwise.
We know our terms and conditions are lengthy, and that signing forms when joining sessions can be laborious and seem nonsensical or admin-heavy, but this is in order to protect the wider community. The frail, those suffering chronic and acute illness that may put them at greater risk, and beyond; this virus is not selective about its hosts.
Yoga is about connection; about realising we are intricately linked; that our actions affect one another; that karma is more than just action and reaction; it's about intention. Energetically, what we put out there into the wider universe, comes pouring back at us ten-fold at some point.
So, know that we will continue to limit numbers, put in place strict terms and look out for you, for us and for the wider community as much as we can.
There are so many amazing teachers, businesses and independent studios suffering at the moment. And we all need to pull together and do what we can to look after each other, to share the goodness, the light and accept that right now, things are going to be very different from what they were.
What the world needs now is community and positivity.
Your health and wellbeing is our priority. But don't forget to look out for others.
And remember that all these rules and legalities are there to keep communities safe.
