How does it feel to be you now? In your body? How is the balance between effort and effortlessness? Can you sit just for a few breaths and get really conscious about where and how you are now?
Do you see how easy it is to ‘forget’? Ignorance is bliss. Truth is, the body is always speaking in the language of the breath to us; in the inner rhythms. And oftentimes, it is really convenient to ignore the sounds and the feels. Because life becomes tricky when we move from sleepiness toward wakefulness. Abhyasa; a constant practice. Never ending.
Catching all the moments. The shapeshifting of ego and the deep rootedness of patterns. All a practice. Like trying to catch those tiny flickers of light on the ocean waves as the sun radiates above. So much is in that flicker; our life span, all our moments, our connection to self, connection with others and the rise and fall, expansion and contraction of it all.
It’s easy to get caught up in the warm fire of summer; creativity flows naturally now and the heart energy is vibrant. But don’t forget to sit with water often; feeling into the deeper realms. The flicker at the surface scatters beneath the waves…into the depths where much is hidden.
